Some nights she doesn''t get supper or she has to wait hours and has to sit on busted furniture. I was informed her bed has not been changed in the entire time she has been there, which is almost two months! Her laundry has not even been done she has to wear clothes three days then change them only to be washed when I can go to her window and visit.

There is always a variety of activities going on to keep the residents occupied. My only concern with the facility is that some of the nurses and aids smoke right outside the back doors. This allows smoke to blow into the facility very easily.

They really took good care of the residents there. I really like the cleanliness and how calming it was. I come in regularly and have visited quite a bit during this past year. The building did not smell like a typical nursing home. My friend enjoys being here and loves the other Residents and staff.
Some of the staff were very friendly and very cooperative. Some seemed to care and act on it and some didn’t. She was supposed to get physical therapy twice a day and we found out she hadn’t even had it yet. We had to stay on top and let them know that we were watching them. There was no activity other than her therapy and bathing her and stuff like that, which might be partly for her situation. My mom is a current resident for follow up and rehabilitation on a knee operation and other health issues, and the stuff she tells me about is absolutely horrendous.
I would not recommend this place for long term care for your loved ones. Leaving clients in dirty bedding, nasty environment, bedside manner is not even humane. Very dear friend, of ours, has cried non stop. Nursing is rude, and acts like it’s a bother to check on resident.
